Technology workers from a Bracknell-based company spent a day last week getting stuck in to local volunteering projects.
Staff
from technology provider LSI in London Road worked on projects ranging
from clearing vegetation at Westmorland Park, Warfield, cutting hedges,
litter picking and mowing lawns at the Kerith Centre and cleaning and
painting the Barry Square play area in Birch Hill.
Other staff
helped out at sports event for the disabled at Bracknell Leisure
Centre, Bagshot Road, and painted the Wesley Room at Bracknell
Methodist Church in Shepherds Lane.
Bella Daniels, programmes
manager, said: “It’s great to see the team out and about with paint
brushes and garden tools, really giving something back to the local
community.”
